Protect Yourself At All Cost
When under active attack by Aedes aegypti, it is recommended to wear long sleeve shirts, long pants, socks and shoes. Repellents can be applied to deter bites, such as DEET, picaridin, oil of lemon eucalyptus or IR3535. Do not use repellents under clothing on skin that is not exposed. Keep Aedes aegypti out of your home and away from children with nets and ensure that all screens are repaired and free from tears.
